Nutwood Farm is at the forefront of agroforestry in the northeast with productive nut crops and a highly diverse farmstead of perennial edible plants. However, commercial viability is still a challenge due to our small scale and lack of postharvest processing equipment. However, we are working steadily on increasing access to the technical knowledge and equipment that will make local nuts a reality in our regional food system by the end of the this decade. Please continue to reach out with wholesale inquiries as we track the market demand for these important regenerative agriculture crops!
