Nutwood Farm is an agroforestry farm growing hybrid hazelnuts, chestnuts, and other perennial edible tree crops on unceded land of the living Mohican Nation. We seek to live in respect, peace and right relations, and are mindful of broken covenants. Our goal is to provide culturally appropriate, delicious, nutrient dense staple foods while enhancing the fertility, diversity and resilience of the ecosystem we inhabit. We are working to help shift our local food system towards regenerative, perennial agriculture to ensure long-term food sovereignty and bold economic sufficiency.
